How Photo Frenzy collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Who we are

Photo Frenzy is a photo-sharing platform that lets event hosts create a gallery and invite guests to contribute photos through a QR code. This policy explains what data we collect from hosts and guests and how it is used.

2. Information we collect

From guests: your name, email, confirmation that you are 18 or older, and (for business events) your marketing consent preference. We also collect the photos you upload along with metadata such as the upload timestamp.

From hosts: your account details, event information (name, date, location, description), and the configuration choices you make for each event.

Usage data: we log basic platform activity needed to operate and secure the service.

3. How we use your information

To provide the event gallery, display photos to the host and (where enabled) other guests, manage storage and retention, process payments for storage plans and retention extensions, and respond to support requests. We never sell your personal information.

4. Photos and retention

Photos are stored securely and retained for the duration set by the event's retention window (30 days by default). Hosts may extend retention by purchasing an add-on. When the retention period ends, photos are permanently deleted.

5. Sharing and gallery visibility

The host controls who can see photos through the event's gallery visibility setting (private, shared with guests, or public). We do not share your information with third parties for advertising.

6. Marketing consent

For events where the host has enabled marketing consent, guests may optionally agree to allow their photos to be used for marketing purposes. This consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.

7. Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data and photos at any time by contacting the host or our support team.

8. Security

We use secure storage and restrict access to event data so that only the event host and authorized administrators can view it.

9. Children

Photo Frenzy is not intended for anyone under 18. Guests must confirm they are 18 or older before uploading photos.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time by updating the "Last updated" date.
